The GeekWitch is Terri, a 27 year old mother and wife who has identified as Pagan and has been studying and practicing Paganism for over 12 years. Terri identifies her personal path as “Eclectic Paganism with Wiccan and Druidic tendancies”, taking elements of differing traditions to form and complement her non-spiritual beliefs (such as that of not doing any intentional harm). She indulges in the study of Paganism and Witchcraft, as well as other Occult topics.
Whilst mostly being a solitary practitioner and focusing with community online, Terri has been increasingly involved with her local Pagan community, starting up her own networking site for Pagans in Tasmania (now defunct), as well as joining the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance, Inc. and becoming quite involved with the organisation through revamping their website, becoming their Treasurer, designing the TPA’s quarterly newsletter as well as the submission of a regular ‘Internet Interest’ column, and attending two moots every month. Additionally, she was the Australian Columnist at The Pagan Activist (which closed down in July 2009).
In her spare time, Terri enjoys designing websites, playing with new technologies and doing other nerdy things. With this combination of interests, it was only a matter of time before the concept of GeekWitch.org (now TheGeekWitch.com), was born!
Terri is friendly, loves talking to different people and hearing their experiences, so please contact her – she’d love to hear from you!
She currently lives in Tasmania, Australia with her husband, daughter, son and two cats.
